On "Bottoms" I'd say - go with your head rather than your heart. Like you, I WANTED to really like this movie going in. (I liked "Shiva Baby".) Talented people involved. But I was disappointed - this was a bit of a "turn-off" for me. Seligman got the tone wrong. Too RELENTLESSLY "HYPER" and IN-YOUR-FACE for my taste.
