My wife and I (and teen daughter) are big fans of "Shetland," on Britbox (via Amazon Prime). It's got lots of Scottish atmosphere/brogues, a compelling central detective (Jimmy Perez), and some juicy murder mysteries adapted from Ann Cleeves's books. We raced through all five seasons, and lo, a sixth season is just rolling out now.

We are currently watching Brideshead Revisited remastered to 4K on Britbox. We saw it nearly 40 years ago and it's still great viewing.

After “Unorthodox,” with the riveting Shira Haas as a young Hasidic wife trying to leave her Brooklyn community, I plunged into “Shtisel”—a great Israeli series about an extended Hasidic family in Jerusalem. The cast is terrific, and includes Haas both before and (I think) after “Unorthodox” (the series had a long hiatus before its last season).

Also enjoyed the first season of “Staged” (Hulu), with David Tennant and Michael Sheen playing themselves cooped up during the pandemic and trying to get a play cast, but mostly verbally duking it out over their respective Scots and Welsh heritages. Just started second season.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first season of the Australian “Love on the Spectrum” (Netflix), a docuseries that follows a number of young people on the autism spectrum as they try dating and looking for love. The second season was even better. Skirts but doesn’t really tip over into sentimentality—the subjects are lovely, compelling characters.

I second “Last Tango in Halifax”—I came for Derek Jacobi, and stayed for Nicola Walker. I’d watch her in anything.

Thanks for the recommendations!

Great Question! Since it is titled "Euro-vision" I will skip favorites such as Israeli and Middle Eastern series such as Fauda, Tehran, and When Heroes Fly. If I had one Euro series to recommend it would certainly be the Italian production, MY BRILLIANT FRIEND, an unforgettable watching experience. Others would include the Danish Wallendar, The Bridge or its British version The Tunnel, or France's Laetitia.
