Every time I see something with Stanley Tucci I leave feeling like he could be my best bud.

Thank you for this review! I'd been meaning to watch this but frankly forgot to make a note of it, and then got frustrated by all the searching on the blur of channels. I'm such a Tucci fan, will watch this soon.

BTW, I'm thrilled you are here on Substack, you'e made your move at a perfect moment as we're all frustrated by the blur of the streaming services. (Not to mention how confusing it is for all of us boomers who come from the world of the written page.) I'm telling everyone I know to subscribe. Since I'm still reading books and I don't watch the screen at the end of every day, I don't want to spend a lot of time searching for a good movie. I'm hoping one of your special projects will be some sort of cheat sheet guide to knowing the scope, specialty, fee/no fee offerings, subscription requirements of the different services. I know it's a moving target, but some sort of quick guide that would be easily updatable would make a world of difference! I would pay extra for it -- it's just that frustrating at this point. That's my two cents. Meanwhile, thank you thank you thank you!

"Big Night" has always resonated here in Waltham, with Pascals being our Chateau restaurant, and restaurants such as LaCampagna and Il Capriccio being our "Primo style" restaurants. No denigration intended, just a reflection on the common rivalry of the established v. the new.

Ty Burr: Thanks to you, we have been able to watch some very good movies over the past several weeks. You say what I have been saying for years about Netflix: 3,000 movies, but only a few worth watching, and how do you find them (you solved that)? I think it is bizarre that you can get very good movies through Netflix's mail service, but not on their platform. Can you recommend an alternative to Netflix that actually has worthwhile movies? BTW, the movies Guilty was incredible and also Tucci in Worth was fabulous. Now we are going to watch all the Tucci movies. Thanks for opening our eyes!
